About the plans.
Can I change my website myself? What's a done-for-you change?
Yes — edit your website yourself any time, as often as you like: text, prices, hours, photos, specials and more, in a simple editor or by just telling the assistant what you want. When you'd rather we do it, both plans include 5 done-for-you changes a month. We work on one request at a time, usually about 2 business days each.
How does the subscription work?
Month-to-month, with no contract and no setup fees. Your first month is free on either plan (with Website + Chat, that includes the chat assistant). We save your card at checkout and Stripe first bills it 30 days later, then once a month. After that Stripe bills your card once a month, and you can change plans or cancel any time from your billing page.
Can I change plans later?
Yes — move up or down whenever it suits you. Changes take effect from your next billing date, and you only ever pay for the plan you're on.
Who owns the website?
You do. Your domain and content are always yours, and the website is yours to keep after 12 paid months — we'll hand over the files and help you host it wherever you like.
What's the guarantee?
First month free, then a 30-day money-back guarantee — not happy within 30 days of your first payment, we refund your plan fee, no questions asked. And there's no waiting: your website goes live on its free address the moment you start your plan.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Your first month is free, so nothing is charged for the plan if you cancel in the first 30 days; and within 30 days of your first payment, just reply to any of our emails and we refund your plan fee in full and cancel. After that it's month-to-month: cancel any time, and you won't be charged again. A web address you bought through us isn't refundable once it's registered — it's registered in your name and stays yours, and we'll send you the transfer code whenever you want to move it.
How does chat credit work?
Website + Chat includes $5 of chat credit every month. At typical chat lengths that's thousands of visitor messages a month. The $5 of monthly chat credit resets on the 1st of each month, and unused monthly credit doesn't roll over. Need more? Top up any time: $10 adds $5 of chat credit that never expires and is used after the monthly credit runs out. If your credit runs out, the assistant keeps taking messages for you.
