Choose where your website lives.

Two options. Both include hosting, the security certificate (https) and every update we make.

Option A · no setup

Keep your free address

Your site stays at yourbusiness.quietmountainlabs.com — it's live the moment you claim. You can switch to your own domain any time.

Option B · recommended

Use your own domain

Your site shows at www.yourbusiness.com. One DNS record, about 5 minutes. Your domain and email stay exactly where they are.

Connect your own domain

The one record everyone adds:

Then forward the bare domain (yourbusiness.com) to https://www.yourbusiness.com so both addresses work. Pick your provider for click-by-click steps:

GoDaddy
  1. Sign in at godaddy.com → My Products → next to your domain click DNS.
  2. Find the record named www. If it exists, click the pencil to edit it; if not, click Add New Record.
  3. Set Type = CNAME, Name = www, Value = sites-origin.quietmountain.ai, TTL = 1 hour → Save.
  4. Bare domain: on the same page open Forwarding → Add Forwarding → forward yourbusiness.com to https://www.yourbusiness.com, type Permanent (301) → Save.
Namecheap
  1. Sign in at namecheap.com → Domain List → Manage → Advanced DNS.
  2. Under Host Records, edit the www record or click Add New Record.
  3. Choose CNAME Record, Host = www, Value = sites-origin.quietmountain.ai → click the green check to save.
  4. Bare domain: Add New Record → URL Redirect Record, Host = @, Value = https://www.yourbusiness.com, Permanent (301).
Squarespace Domains (incl. former Google Domains)
  1. Sign in at account.squarespace.com → Domains → click your domain → DNS (DNS Settings).
  2. Under Custom records, delete any existing www record, then Add record.
  3. Host = www, Type = CNAME, Data = sites-origin.quietmountain.ai → Save.
  4. Bare domain: open Domain forwarding (or Website forwarding) → forward @ to https://www.yourbusiness.com (301). If your old site is on Squarespace, this doesn't cancel it — do that later.
Cloudflare
  1. Sign in at dash.cloudflare.com → your domain → DNS → Records.
  2. Edit the www record or click Add record: Type = CNAME, Name = www, Target = sites-origin.quietmountain.ai.
  3. Set Proxy status to DNS only (grey cloud) → Save.
  4. Bare domain: Rules → Redirect Rules → template “Redirect from root to www” → Save.
Wix
  1. Sign in at wix.com → Domains → click ⋯ next to your domain → Manage DNS Records.
  2. Under CNAME (Aliases), edit the www entry to point to sites-origin.quietmountain.ai → Save DNS.
  3. If Wix won't let you edit www while the domain is connected to a Wix site, choose Disconnect from site first (your Wix site stays in your account).
  4. Reply to our email once saved — we'll handle the bare domain with you.
Another provider (Network Solutions, Bluehost, HostGator, IONOS, Hover, Porkbun, AWS…)
  1. Sign in where your domain is managed and open its DNS / DNS Zone / Manage DNS page.
  2. Add (or edit) one record: Type = CNAME, Host/Name = www, Points to/Value/Target = sites-origin.quietmountain.ai.
  3. Remove any other www record of type A or AAAA — there can only be one.
  4. Bare domain: look for Forwarding or Redirect and send yourbusiness.com to https://www.yourbusiness.com (301). Can't find it? Reply and we'll set it up with you.

After you save

  1. Tell us your domainReply to our email (or enter it above and press Check). We register it on our side and issue the free security certificate.
  2. Wait a few minutesDNS changes usually show within 5–30 minutes, occasionally up to a few hours. Use Check my domain above — it turns green when www points to us.
  3. You're liveWe confirm by email. Your old website stops showing on www as soon as the record changes — cancel your old hosting only after you've seen the new one live.

What we never touch

  • Your email. Don't change MX or TXT records — mail keeps working exactly as today.
  • Your passwords. We never ask for them, and you never need to give us access to your registrar.
  • Ownership. The domain stays registered to you. Leave any time and point it wherever you like.
